The pressure waves generated by several discrete explosions spread out in the earth’s atmosphere and were picked up after approx. 36 minutes, 625 km away by the stations of the I26DE infrasound array which were being installed at the time in the Bavarian Forest (previous designation: GIS0 – GIS3).
